Uma organização é definida e representada pelo seu comportamento organizacional e a sua cultura. Não sendo estas duas realidades opostas evoluem lado a lado segundo as forças internas e externas nas organizações que se traduzem em processos de adaptação a novas realidades em constante mudança.
As organizações são feitas de e para pessoas e, como tal, torna-se fundamental que estas se encontrem felizes nas mesmas para que haja um desempenho positivo e que se traduza em sucesso.
É deste modo que a comunicação interna ganha novo sentido e urgência, e torna-se, assim, pertinente compreender qual o papel que a comunicação interna desempenha no comprometimento dos colaboradores face à cultura nas organizações.
A presente investigação é um estudo de caso realizado à empresa de telecomunicações nacional NOS que se propõe compreender o papel que a comunicação interna em rede desempenha no comprometimento dos colaboradores face à cultura dessa mesma organização, tendo como estudo de caso a Intranet da NOS.
Deste modo, apura-se se os colaboradores desta organização aferem e dão relevância às capacidades deste instrumento de comunicação interna relativamente ao seu próprio comprometimento para com a cultura da mesma em que trabalham.
An organization is defined and represented by its organizational behavior as well as its internal culture. As these two realities are not opposite they evolve together accordingly external and internal forces to the organization which translate into adaption processes and new realities always changing. Organizations are made by and for people and therefor its essential their happiness in the organization in order to be a positive performance which will be converted into success. It is this way internal communication achieves new and urgent importance and thus it is relevant to understand the role that internal communication has in the employees’ commitment towards the organizational culture. The present investigation is a case study on the Portuguese telecommunication organization NOS which study proposes to understand the role the intranet plays in the employees’ commitment towards NOS’ organizational culture, studying for that matter NOS network. Therefore, it is also important to understand if the organization employees realize and give importance to NOS’ intranet as a tool that improves the commitment towards the internal organizational culture.
