| dc.description.abstract | O objetivo deste estudo é discutir como a Arte, em particular as VERTIGO-STARTS Residencies, podem potenciar inovação em contexto industrial. Neste sentido, este estudo está estruturado com um breve enquadramento teórico sobre o surgimento das colônias de artistas até a realização de residências artísticas envolvendo Ciência, Tecnologia e Arte. A caracterização do estudo ICT ART CONNECT – Activities Linking ICT and ART: Past experiences – Future activities traz a base para um panorama geral da Iniciativa STARTS - Science, Technology and the Arts, desenvolvida e apoiada pela Comissão Europeia desde 2012. Entre os pilares da Iniciativa STARTS, encontram-se as STARTS Residencies. Este estudo apresenta o mapeamento e a caracterização das 45 STARTS Residencies coordenadas pelo programa VERTIGO, bem como a metodologia, disseminação e resultados do programa. Por fim, é analisado o potencial das 45 STARTS Residencies para inovação em contexto industrial, contribuindo para a disseminação da Iniciativa STARTS, bem como estimular novos estudos e pesquisas sobre residências artísticas com foco em Ciência, Tecnologia e Arte. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study is to discuss how Art, in particular VERTIGO-STARTS Residencies, can enhance innovation in an industrial context. In this sense, this study is structured initially with a brief theoretical framework on the emergence of artists' colonies until the realization of artistic residencies involving Science, Technology and Art. The characterization of the study ICT ART CONNECT - Activities Linking ICT and ART: Past experiences - Future activities brings the basis for an overview of the STARTS Initiative - Science, Technology and the Arts, developed and supported by the European Commission since 2012. Among the pillars of the STARTS Initiative are the STARTS Residencies. This study brings the mapping and characterization of the 45 STARTS Residencies coordinated by the VERTIGO programme, as well as the methodology, dissemination and results of the programme. At the end of this study, it is expected to analyse the potential of the 45 STARTS Residencies for innovation in an industrial context. With this, it is also expected to contribute to the dissemination of the STARTS Initiative, as well as to stimulate further studies and research on artistic residencies focused on Science, Technology and Art. | pt_PT |
