| dc.description.abstract | Este trabalho tem como objeto as seguintes questões de investigação: Será que a constituição e funcionamento das Redes Sociais Municipais tem contribuído para a sustentabilidade das IPSS? Se for o caso, como é que isso tem acontecido? Para analisar estas questões recorreu-se ao enquadramento teórico constituído pelos trabalhos de Mendes (2011a, 2011b, 2015) que propõem um novo conceito de Organizações de Economia Social muito baseado nas especificidades económicas destas organizações. Este conceito é pertinente para este trabalho porque ele se presta bem ao estudo dos problemas e das estratégias e sustentabilidade destas organizações. À luz deste enquadramento teórico, analisa-se, primeiro, a legislação fundamental que instituiu as Redes Sociais, concluindo-se que essa legislação vai no sentido destas redes terem potencial para dar contributos positivos para quase todas as componentes de uma estratégia de sustentabilidade das IPSS. Apresentam-se, depois, os estudos de caso das Redes Sociais de Matosinhos e de V. N. Gaia. À conclusão destes estudos de caso é que é positiva a reposta à questão sobre se a constituição e funcionamento das Redes Sociais Municipais tem contribuído para a sustentabilidade das IPSS. Quanto à questão sobre como é que isso tem acontecido, os estudos de caso apontam no sentido de que isso depende muito das especificidades de cada concelho. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This work has the following research questions: Has the establishment and implementation of the Municipal Social Networks contributed to the sustainability of the Private Social Welfare Organizations (IPSS)? If so, how has this happened? To analyze these question the theoretical framework is the series of papers written by Mendes (2011a, 2011b, 2015) proposing a new concept of social economy organizations based on the economic specificities of these organizations. This concept is relevant for this research because it facilitates the study of the problems and strategies and sustainability of these organizations. In light of this theoretical framework, the first step is an analysis of the fundamental legislation establishing the Social Networks. The conclusion is that this legislation goes in the direction of enabling these networks with a good potential for make positive contributions to almost all components of a sustainability strategy of the IPSS. Next two case studies of municipal Social Networks are presented: the cases of Matosinhos and Vila de Nova Gaia. The conclusion of these case studies is that it is positive the answer to the question about whether the establishment and implementation of the Municipal Social Networks has contributed to the sustainability of IPSS. As for the question of how this has happened, the conclusion of the case studies is that this depends on the specificities of each municipality. | pt_PT |
