O presente trabalho corresponde à dissertação de Mestrado em Direito das Empresas e dos Negócios da Faculdade de Direito, Escola do Porto, da Universidade Católica Portuguesa. O objeto deste estudo é o direito à informação nas sociedades anónimas, mais concretamente o direito à informação do acionista em AG. A questão é abordada através de duas perspetivas: por um lado, o direito do acionista em ter acesso à informação e, por outro, o dever da sociedade em prestar essa informação. Na parte final deste trabalho, é ainda feita uma análise sumária comparativa do regime do direito à informação em AG em alguns ordenamentos europeus.
The present work corresponds to the master’s thesis in Corporate and Business Law of Porto Faculty of Law, Universidade Católica Portuguesa. The purpose of this study is the right to information in public limited companies, specifically the shareholder's right to information at a shareholders' meeting. The subject is addressed from two perspectives: on the one hand, the right of the shareholder to have access to information and, on the other, the duty of the company to provide this information. In the final part of this work, it is made a summary comparison of the system assigned to this right in some European jurisdictions.
