A educação pela arte é um método de ensino e aprendizagem que pretende ser integrador de todas as dimensões do ser humano. Em sentido semelhante enquadra-se, numa perspetiva de educação integral da pessoa, a disciplina de Educação Moral e Religiosa Católica (EMRC). Esta proximidade faz com que se aprofundem os motivos pelos quais a educação através da arte constitui uma estratégia de aprendizagem em EMRC, que conjuga sobretudo a dimensão afetiva e espiritual com a dimensão cognitiva do ser humano.
Este relatório descreve a aplicação deste método utilizado na Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, tendo por base o estudo teórico da educação pela arte, a importância da arte para a Igreja e, em concreto, para a disciplina de EMRC
Education through Art is a teaching and learning method that intends to be integrate all dimensions of the human being. Similarly, we can state that Catholic Moral and Religious Education (EMRC), as a subject, also fulfils the mission to educate the whole person. This connexion deepens the reasons why Education through Art should be used when teaching EMRC as it combines both the emotional and spiritual dimension with the cognitive aspect of the human being. This report describes the use of this method throughout a Supervised Teaching Internship, based on the theorical studies on Education through art, the importance of Art in Church and, in particular, its relevance when it comes to the subject of EMRC.
