Abstract(s)
Este relatório pretende dar a conhecer o trabalho desenvolvido na Santa
Casa da Misericórdia de Amarante, na valência da terceira idade.
Na primeira parte será desenvolvida a história, bem como a caracterização
e contextualização histórica da Santa Casa da Misericórdia.
Na segunda parte será feita uma descrição do público-alvo (seniores) e
serão explicitadas as funções do profissional de intervenção (educador social). De
seguida, serão abordados vários temas teóricos relacionado com o sénior,
(envelhecimento, aspetos gerais do envelhecimento, quarta idade, entre outros).
O objetivo do presente estágio foi contribuir para a criação de um gabinete
de Educação Social e elaborar e manter um plano de diferentes atividades.
Ao longo do percurso foram realizadas diversas atividades, que se vieram a
mostrar uma mais-valia para os idosos, tanto ao nível cognitivo como ao nível
motor.
This report aims to present the work of the Holy House of Santa Casa da Misericórdia, the valence of the Third Age. In the first part of the story will be developed, as well as the characterization and historical contextualization of the Holy House of Santa Casa da Misericórdia. In the second part a description of the target audience (senior) will be taken, will be explained the functions of a professional of intervention (social educator). Then, they will discuss several theoretical issues associated with the senior (age, general aspects of aging, fourth age among others). The objective of this internship was to contribute to the establishment of an office of Social Education and develop and maintain a plan of different activities. Along the way were carried out various activities that have come to show a gain for the elderly, both the cognitive level and at the engine level.
