Toda a vida tem uma história. E toda a história é o tempo concreto onde se insere essa vida. Esta é a história e a vida de Sílvia Cardoso, “mística” da obra do Amor. Amor, um conceito teológico que se entende nas diversas áreas teológicas e que se concretiza na vida de “alguns” eleitos, como Sílvia Cardoso, de forma mais expressiva e intensa. É por isso, a partir do Amor de Deus que entendemos o Amor a Deus que se concretiza no Amor ao próximo. Segundo Sílvia Cardoso, leiga, este Amor define-se na vida em profunda comunhão com Deus, para na resposta de Amor, irmos ao encontro do outro, atribulado no corpo ou na alma. No fundo, fazer com que o Amor seja amado. E quão necessário hoje é para a Nova Evangelização expandir e comunicar esta “mística” do Amor. Atualizar a mensagem do Amor, numa perspetiva Redentora e de salvação, foi a preocupação de Sílvia Cardoso no seu tempo. Esta é a grande mensagem dos seus escritos. O seu testemunho é por isso uma luz “pequenina”, mas intensa para um caminho escuro ainda por fazer.
