Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho centra-se, principalmente, na devoção a Nossa Senhora no
Arciprestado de Guimarães e Vizela, em concreto no século XX. No entanto, para que exista
uma contextualização do século XX são apresentadas as principais mensagens dos pontífices
do vigésimo século sobre Nossa Senhora. Num segundo ponto, baseandonos nas formas de
pastorear dos Arcebispos de Braga compreendemos um pouco o contexto social de Portugal e
como as devoções marianas tiveram particular relevância em momentos conturbados da nossa
história mundial e nacional. É deste modo que nos encaminhamos para o ponto mais concreto
deste trabalho que são as devoções marianas no Arciprestado de Guimarães e Vizela, onde não
podemos deixar passar em branco grandes romarias e peregrinações como: Nossa Senhora da
Oliveira, Nossa Senhora da Lapinha e Nossa Senhora da Penha. No entanto, não nos podíamos
deixar pelas grandes peregrinações e achamos por bem adentramos nas paróquias do
Arciprestado para fazer uma comparação das devoções Marianas existentes no início do século
XX e no início do século XXI.
The present work focuses mainly on the devotion of to Our Lady in the Archpriestship of Guimarães and Vizela, specifically in the 20th century. However, so that there is a contextualization of the 20th century, the main messages of the 20th century pontiffs about Our Lady are presented. In a second point, based on the ways of shepherding of the Archbishops of Braga, we understand a little about the social context of Portugal and how Marian devotions had particular relevance in troubled moments of our world and national history. It is in this way that we move towards the most concrete point of this work, which are the Marian devotions in the Archpriestship of Guimarães and Vizela, where we cannot overlook great pilgrimages and pilgrimages such as: Our Lady from Oliveira, Our Lady from Lapinha and Our Lady from Penha. However, we could not stop ourselves from the great pilgrimages and we thought it was good to enter the parishes of the Arciprestado to make a comparison of the Marian devotions existing at the beginning of the 20th century and at the beginning of the 21st century.
