Esta investigação tem por base a transmissão de significados de saúde entre pais e filhos. O principal
objetivo desta investigação é identificar e caraterizar a transmissão da perceção de saúde de pais para
filhos, bem como, comparar essa mesma transmissão em famílias com casos de diabetes mellitus tipo
II e em famílias onde a doença não esteja presente. Na análise didática foi utilizado o Actor-Partner
Interdependence Model. Esta investigação foi realizada por 94 tríades, constituída pela mãe, pai e um
filho. Concluímos que a prevalência da transmissão da perceção da saúde varia consoante o género
dos progenitores, onde se constatou que apenas existe prevalência de transmissão de Pai para Filho
This investigation is based on the transmission of health meanings between parents and children. The main objective of this investigation is to identify and characterize the transmission of health perception from parents to children, as well as to compare this transmission in families with cases of type II diabetes mellitus and in families where the disease is not present. In the didactic analysis, the ActorPartner Interdependence Model was used. This investigation was carried out by 94 triads, consisting of the mother, father, and a child.
