A Doutrina Social da Igreja apesenta o bem comum como um dos seus princípios
permanentes, com base na conceção da dignidade e da igualdade de todos os seres humanos.
Trata-se de um conjunto de bens e condições de vida que permitem a cada pessoa ou grupo
viver dignamente. Entre os bens tidos como essenciais para garantir as condições mínimas de
sobrevivência destaca-se a alimentação, considerada pela Organização das Nações Unidas
como um Direito Humano.
Quando se dá atenção ao outro, que não tem o mínimo para viver, e se partilham com
ele alimentos e outros bens essenciais, então, está a colocar-se em prática «A Partilha do Pão»,
tema da Unidade Letiva do 6º Ano de EMRC, que norteou este Relatório Final da Prática de
Ensino Supervisionada. Na cultura e tradição portuguesa, o pão tem um sentido simbólico que
supera a matéria natural, pois significa tudo o que é preciso para se poder viver. Deste modo,
ao refletirmos sobre os atos de partilha do pão, no horizonte dos conteúdos e ações de ensino e
aprendizagem desenvolvidos, abrangemos também outros bens básicos e essenciais que, uma
vez partilhados com quem os não tem, são fundamento do cuidado do outro e contribuem para
a construção do bem comum.
The Social Doctrine of The Church shows the common good as one of its permanent principles, based on the concept of dignity and equality of all human beings. This means a set of goods and living conditions that allow each person or group to live in dignity. Among the goods seen as essential to guarantee the minimum conditions for survival, food stands out, considered by the United Nations as a Human Right. When attention is paid to the other, who does not have the least to live on, and food and other essential goods are shared with him, then, «A Partilha do Pão» (The Sharing the Bread) is being put into practice, the theme of the EMRC 6th Teaching Unit, that guided this Final Report of the Supervised Teaching Practice. In portuguese culture and tradition, bread has a symbolic meaning that surpasses natural matter, because it means everything you need to live. Thus, when we reflect on the sharing of bread, within the scope of the teaching and learning contents and actions developed, we also cover other basic and essential goods that, once shared with those who do not have them, are the basis for caring for the other and help to build the common good.
