| dc.description.abstract | Este estudo, visa alertar para um problema social emergente, o envelhecimento demográfico, e destacar a importância do envelhecimento ativo. O objetivo geral consiste em conhecer e avaliar de que forma a participação de idosos institucionalizados nas atividades propostas pelo projeto Mais Aldeia Pedagógica de Portela (MAPP) contribui para a promoção de um envelhecimento ativo. Ao longo deste estudo emergem dois temas, que pretendem dar a conhecer a perspetiva e opinião dos participantes sobre o projeto MAPP, e avaliar ao longo de um ano qual o contributo da participação social para o envelhecimento ativo. Foi utilizado o método qualitativo, numa lógica indutiva, e os dados são revistos de forma a aferir se a participação social contribuiu para o envelhecimento ativo. Os dados foram recolhidos em instituições particulares de solidariedade social de Bragança. Podemos concluir que tendo em conta a evolução positiva de opiniões e o aumento do reconhecimento do projeto, por parte dos participantes, o MAPP contribui para a promoção do envelhecimento ativo. Os resultados confirmam a participação efetiva dos utentes nas atividades, sendo a avaliação do projeto MAPP positiva e promotora do envelhecimento ativo nesta população. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This study aims, alert to an emerging social problem, the demographic ageing, and alerting to the importance of active aging. The general objective is to know and evaluate how the participation of institutionalized elderly people in the activities proposed by the project Mais Aldeia Pedagógica de Portela – MAPP contributes to the promotion of an active ageing. Throughout this study, two themes emerge which allow to know the perspective and opinion of the participants about the MAPP and to evaluate, over a year, the contribution of the social participation, to the active ageing. The qualitative method was used in an inductive logic, in which the data are reviewed to assess if this type of social participation contributes to active ageing. The data was collected in the private social solidarity institutions of Bragança. We can conclude that, given the positive evolution of opinions and the increase of the recognition of the project by participants, the MAPP has contributed to the promotion of active ageing. The results confirm the effective participation of the users in the activities, and the MAPP evaluation is positive and promotes the active ageing of this population. | pt_PT |
