Este relatório explana o percurso de aquisição de competências durante o estágio final do Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem, para a obtenção do grau académico de Mestre e o título profissional de Especialista em Enfermagem Comunitária. Durante este percurso na Unidade de Saúde Pública (USP) de um Agrupamento de Centros de Saúde (ACES) da região Norte, recorreu-se ao Modelo de Avaliação, Intervenção e Empoderamento Comunitário (MAIEC) para implementar um projeto de intervenção comunitária alicerçado no projeto de investigação MAIEC - Vigilância Epidemiológica dos Diagnósticos de Enfermagem (VEDE). Este permitiu a prática de uma Enfermagem Comunitária Avançada, visto que foi utilizado um modelo teórico e dados contributos no processo de investigação, transferência de conhecimentos para a prática clínica e reflexão e partilha desse conhecimento com os pares e a sociedade, desenvolvendo, dessa forma, as competências de Mestre em Enfermagem. O projeto permitiu alicerçar as competências especificas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Comunitária, utilizando como metodologia o planeamento em saúde, associada à vigilância epidemiológica e a capacitação (empoderamento) comunitária num processo de gestão de programas e projetos. No primeiro capítulo do relatório –Contextualização - é apresentado de forma mais aprofundada o contexto, as políticas e o enquadramento da problemática abordada no estágio, assim como o processo de empoderamento comunitário, o modelo teórico de referencia utilizado - Modelo de Avaliação, Intervenção e Empoderamento Comunitário (MAIEC)” e a evidência orientadora da sua utilização no contexto do estágio. Apresentase, no capítulo seguinte, o projeto alicerçado na explanação da metodologia do Planeamento em Saúde, apresentando em subcapítulos as suas várias etapas. Por fim conclui-se de que forma todo o processo de estágio contribuiu de forma efetiva para o desenvolvimento das competências especializadas em Enfermagem Comunitária, assim como as competências previstas para a obtenção do grau de Mestre em Enfermagem.
This report explains the journey of skill acquisition during the internship to obtain the Master’s academic degree and the professional of Community Nursing Specialist. During this journey at the Public Health Unit (USP) of a Group o Health Centers (ACES) in the Northern region of Portugal, Evaluation, Intervention and Empowerment of the Community Model (MAIEC) was used to implement the research project MAIEC – Epidemiological Surveillance of the Nursing Diagnoses (VEDE). This allowed the practice of an Advanced Communitarian Nursing, since it was used a theoretical model and contributions during the investigation process, transfer of the acquired knowledge to the clinical practice, reflection and also during the sharing of this knowledge with peers and the society, thus developing the Master’s skills. This project allowed the consolidation of the specific skill of the Community Nursing Specialist Nurse, using as methodology the health planning, associated with epidemiological surveillance and community empowerment in a program and project management process. On the first chapter of this report – Contextualization – the context, the policies and the framework of the problem addressed during the internship, as well as the process of community empowerment, the theoretical reference model used – “Model of Evaluation, Intervention and Empowerment (MAIEC)"and the guiding evidence of its use in the context of the internship are presented in more detail. The next chapter presents the project based on the explanation of the methodology of Health Planning, with its various stages organized in subchapters. Finally, it concludes that the entire internship process contributed effectively to the development of the specialized competences in Community Nursing, as well as the competencies expected for the obtention a Master's degree in Nursing.
