O presente relatório visa partilhar os resultados da investigação realizada e analisar
de forma crítica e reflexiva o desenvolvimento de competências na prestação de cuidados
de Enfermagem Especializados, na Área de Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica.
No decorrer deste percurso, foram desenvolvidas competências de Enfermagem
Especializadas no cuidar à Pessoa em Situação Crítica e família em contexto de Serviço de
Urgência e Unidades de Cuidados Intermédios e Intensivos. Salienta-se a intervenção
diferenciada no âmbito da prevenção de Úlceras por Pressão ao doente crítico, assim como
a sensibilização e capacitação de outros Enfermeiros para esta intervenção através da
realização de formação sobre a problemática.
Relativamente à investigação realizada, através da prática baseada na evidência, foi
possível demonstrar diferenciação na prevenção de Úlceras por Pressão à Pessoa em
Situação Crítica, nomeadamente na prevenção de Úlceras por Pressão Relacionadas com
Dispositivos Médicos. Compreendeu-se igualmente a dimensão que a intervenção do
Enfermeiro Especialista deve assumir perante a equipa multidisciplinar e a nível
institucional.
This report aims to share the results of the research carried out and to critically and reflexively analyse the development of Specialized Nursing care skills. During this course, Specialized Nursing skills were developed to care for Critical Patient and family in the context of Emergency Service and Intensive Care Units. It is highlighted the interventions for Pressure Ulcer prevention in Critical Patient, as well as the awareness and empowerment of other Nurses for this intervention through directed training. Regarding the investigation carried out, through evidence based practice, it was possible to demonstrate specific Pressure Ulcer prevention interventions in the Critical Patient, highlightening Medical Device Related Pressure Ulcers strategies. It was also perceived the dimension that the Specialized Nursing intervention must assume before the multidisciplinary team and at an institucional level.
