Este relatório reflete o percurso realizado no âmbito da Unidade Curricular Estágio Final e Relatório inserida no Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem, com Especialização em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica na Universidade Católica Portuguesa e tem como finalidade a descrição reflexiva dos objetivos e atividades desenvolvidas com vista à aquisição de competências especializadas. Foi utilizada a metodologia descritivo reflexiva com apoio em recursos bibliográficos, sendo feita uma descrição das atividades desenvolvidas e competências adquiridas em dois campos de estágio; o primeiro realizou-se no Serviço de Cuidados Intensivos e o segundo na Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos Coronários. Nos estágios foram desenvolvidas atividades centradas no cuidar da pessoa/família a vivenciar processos de doença crítica e/ou falência orgânica. Todas estas atividades foram desenvolvidas tendo em consideração os princípios de prevenção e controlo de infeção e de resistência a antimicrobianos em serviços de cuidados intensivos. Das atividades desenvolvidas destacam-se a realização de um Projeto de Intervenção, uma proposta de folha de transferência de doentes para ser testada no Serviço de Cuidados Intensivos, com a finalidade de facilitar a transição de cuidados através da estruturação de informação do doente, bem como a elaboração de um póster para a divulgação aos pares da técnica ISBAR, na Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos Coronários. Aquando a realização destes trabalhos foi efetuada a revisão de literatura em base de dados científicos, assim como a leitura de documentos considerados pertinentes para o tema em questão. Com a elaboração destes Projetos de Intervenção, foi possível desenvolver conhecimentos e competências comuns de enfermeiro especialista no domínio da melhoria contínuo da qualidade, competências específicas na unidade de competência de gestão da comunicação interpessoal, assim como métodos e técnicas de investigação, que permitam o crescimento da investigação em enfermagem em contexto profissional. A reflexão e as atividades desenvolvidas em contexto prático, contribuiu para a aquisição de competências de grau de Mestre, com Especialização em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, assim como tornou possível o desenvolvimento de vários saberes. O saber fazer na gestão de cuidados à pessoa/família a vivenciar processos complexos de doença, mantendo padrões elevados de qualidade garantindo assim a segurança dos cuidados. O saber ser, a enfermagem focado na arte do cuidar do outro respeitando a sua autonomia e dignidade. Por último, saber-saber, na procura constante de conhecimento, que oriente a profissão de enfermagem no rumo de uma enfermagem avançada, assente na capacidade que os seus profissionais têm de desenvolverem um corpo de saberes próprios, com a constante atualização e aprendizagem. Foram todos estes saberes desenvolvidos nos campos de estágio que se tornaram fundamentais para a aquisição de competências especializadas na área Médico-Cirúrgica, mais especificamente ao doente crítico e que me permitiram adquirir competências para a melhoria da prática em contexto profissional.
This report reflects the course carried out within the Final internship and Report Curricular Unit inserted in the Masters Course in Nursing, with Specialization in Medical-Surgical Nursing at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and has the purpose to reflect and describe about the objectives and activities developed in order to the acquisition of specialized skills. It was used the reflective descriptive methodology with the support of bibliographic resources, and it was made a description of the activities developed and the competences acquired in two settings; the first was an Intensive Care Unit and the second one an Coronary Intensive Care Unit. In the internship activities were developed focused on caring for the person / family experiencing processes of critical illness and / or organic failure. All the activities were made to maximize the prevention and control of infection and antimicrobial resistance in intensive care services. From the activities developed, it is worth highlighting the accomplishment of an Intervention Project, a proposal of a patient transfer sheet to be tested at the Intensive Care Unit, in order to facilitate the transition of care through the structuring of patient information, as well as the elaboration of a poster for the ISBAR technique in the Coronary Intensive Care Unit. To make this work possible it was made a search on data bases, as well as reading of documents considered pertinent to the subject in question. With the elaboration of these Intervention Projects, it was possible to develop knowledge and skills of specialist nurse in the field of continuous quality improvement, competence in the management of intercompany communication, that allow the growth of nursing research in a professional context. The reflection and the activities developed in a practical context, contributed to the acquisition of Master's degree skills, with Specialization in Medical-Surgical Nursing, as well as the development of various knowledges. The know how to do in the care management to the person / family experiencing complex processes of disease, maintaining high standards of quality, thus ensuring the safety of care. To know how to be, nursing focused on caring for others respecting their autonomy and dignity. Lastly know how to know, in the constant search for knowledge, that guides the nursing profession towards an advanced nursing, based on the capacity of its professionals to develop a body of their own knowledge, through constant updating of learning and research. All these knowledges developed have become fundamental for the acquisition of specialized skills in the Medical-Surgical area, more specifically in the critical patient care that allowed me to acquire skills to the improvement professional practice.
