O bem-estar e qualidade de vida do ser humano está inteiramente conectado à sua situação de saúde. A saúde oral faz parte integrante daquilo que se considera fundamental para a manutenção daquelas que são as condições físicas, emocionais e sociais ideais.
Ao longo do Ano Letivo 2013/2014, nos meses compreendidos entre Setembro de 2013 e Junho de 2014, tive a oportunidade de entrar em contacto direto com casos clínicos que abrangiam todas as Áreas Disciplinares da Medicina Dentária.
O presente relatório de atividade clínica visa proceder à descrição e análise dos atos clínicos em que me envolvi nos papéis tanto de operador, como de assistente, ao longo do 5º e último ano de curso. Simultaneamente, serão elencados os diagnósticos efetuados e os tratamentos a que foi sujeito(a) o(a) paciente em causa.
Tal descrição será obtida por via da análise, em cada consulta, das variáveis Área Disciplinar, idade, sexo e tratamento.
Uma reflexão final sobre os resultados da atividade clínica permitirá a consolidação dos conhecimentos obtidos ao longo não só deste último ano de curso mas de todo o meu percurso académico.
The well-being and quality of life of the human being is entirely connected to its health status. Oral health is an integral part of what is considered as crucial to the maintenance of those that are the ideal physical, emotional and social conditions. Throughout the last academic year in the months between September 2013 and June 2014, i had the opportunity to be in direct contact with clinical cases that covered every Dental Specialty. This Report of Clinical Activity is intended to make the description and analysis of the clinical acts in which I was involved as both operator and assistant throughout the fifth and last year of course. Simultaneously, a listing will be made regarding what the diagnosis and treatment was for each patient was. Such description will be possible through the analysis, on each appointment, of the variables Clinical Activity, age, gender and treatment. A final reflection upon the results of my clinical activity will allow the consolidation of knowledge acquired throughout not only this last year of college but from my entire academic career.
