O presente trabalho enquadra-se na temática da Educação e Formação de Adultos e visa retratar o Processo de Reconhecimento, Validação e Certificação de Competências e a Formação Complementar desenvolvida na área das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC) no Centro Novas Oportunidades da EDP Valor no ano de 2011.
Este estudo consistiu na implementação de estratégias/atividades de caráter prático através de ambientes motivacionais e potenciadores de aprendizagens, tendo como público-alvo os adultos oriundos do concelho de Seia candidatos ao 9º ano com necessidades de Formação Complementar para assim atingirem todas as competências necessárias para a sua certificação.
Quanto à metodologia utilizada enveredámos pela Investigação-ação, de caráter qualitativo, desenvolvendo-se um plano de ação, visando ganhos de competências dos formandos em TIC. Recorreu-se a instrumentos como questionários iniciais, ao diário de bordo, à observação direta, à análise documental e à História de Vida dos adultos.
Concluiu-se que os formandos adquiriram e consolidaram competências, atingindo os objetivos estabelecidos, que as estratégias interativas os motivaram e o desempenho básico levou-os a desenvolver processos de aprendizagem com ligação à vida quotidiana e profissional, de forma flexível e faseada, envolvendo também a comunidade local. Proporcionou-se-lhes um tempo significativo de prática que lhes garantiu a transferibilidade das aprendizagens e a autonomia no uso das TIC.
Assim, as aprendizagens autónomas e cooperativas asseguraram aos formandos um percurso coerente de formação e a aquisição de um conjunto de competências. A implementação de atividades práticas teve efeitos significativos na qualificação dos formandos, através da sua participação em processos inclusivos e sustentados, resultando na valorização e exploração das TIC.
The following report positions itself with the scope of Adult Education and Training, emphasizing the Recognition, Validation and Certification of Skills Process as well as the Complementary Training on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) at the New Opportunities Centre of EDP Valor during the year of 2011. The main purpose of this study consisted of implementing strategies/ activities through motivational environments and learning enhancers, whose target audience were adults from Seia Municipality, 9th grade candidates with Complementary Training needs in order to get all the required skills to be certified. Concerning the methodology, it was based on Investigation-action, with a qualitative approach, developing an action plan and aiming gains for the trainees in ICT skills. Data collection was carried out through initial questionnaires, logbook, direct observation, document analysis and adult life history. It was concluded that the trainees have acquired and consolidated the skills, achieving the established goals. Besides that, the interactive strategies have motivated them and the basic performance has led them to develop learning processes regarding their daily professional life, in a flexible and phased way, involving also the local community. It was given a significant amount of practice that ensured the learning and autonomy transfer in the use of ICT. Thus, autonomous and cooperative learning have provided the trainees a coherent training experience and a set of skills acquisition. The implementation of practical activities has had significant effects on the trainees qualification, through their participation in sustained and inclusive processes and therefore the valorization and exploitation of ICT.
