O presente documento foi realizado no âmbito da unidade curricular de Projeto de Intervenção Pedagógica, do mestrado em Ensino de Música da Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Este projeto intitulado “A prática regular de leitura à primeira-vista no ensino formal da guitarra” consiste numa investigação-ação, centrada num estudo de caso, de natureza qualitativa, que teve como amostra dez alunos do 5.º grau de Guitarra da Academia de Música de Espinho. Foi implementado na instituição durante o terceiro período do ano letivo de 2021/2022, tendo sido realizadas nove sessões de leitura à primeira-vista com o grupo experimental entre março e maio de 2022. Este projeto de investigação visa demonstrar a importância e os benefícios da prática de leitura regular de leitura à primeira-vista no ensino formal de guitarra, nos alunos de 5.º grau do ensino básico. A avaliação do estudo centrou-se na prova final, realizada individualmente aos participantes de ambos os grupos. Os resultados deste estudo demonstraram que o grupo experimental obteve melhores resultados na realização de pequenos fragmentos musicais do que o grupo de controlo.
This document was written in the context of the Pedagogical Intervention Project curricular unit, in the Masters of Music Teaching at Portuguese Catholic University. This project is called “The regular practice of sight-reading in formal guitar music teaching”. It is a case study, with ten ninth-grade students from the Music Academy of Espinho as participants. It was implemented in the institution during the third term of the school year of 2021/2022. Nine sessions of sigh-reading with an experimental group were held, between March and May of 2022. This project had the objective of demonstrating the importance and benefits of regular practice of sight-reading in formal guitar teaching, in the fifth-grade. The evaluation of this study was made in the final test, where both groups participated. The results of this study show that the weekly practice of sight-reading can help to develop this ability among young guitarists, as the experimental group had better overall results than the control group.
