Este estudo apresenta e analisa uma investigação sobre o uso educativo das Tecnologias de
Informação e Comunicação (TIC), envolvendo o uso da Plataforma Moodle no primeiro
ano do Curso Profissional de Técnico de Gestão de Equipamentos Informáticos. O objetivo
desta investigação é procurar saber de que forma é que a utilização da plataforma Moodle
nas salas de aula contribui para a aprendizagem colaborativa nos cursos profissionais, em
particular neste. Para tal foram realizadas entrevistas ao administrador da plataforma
Moodle da escola com o fim de obtermos dados sobre quem usa a plataforma e de que
forma o faz; e ao Coordenador TIC com o intuito de aferirmos sobre a utilização das TIC
na escola e a formação dada nesta área.Com os professores da turma envolvida no estudo
optámos pela técnica do Focus Group na fase final do estudo para recolher a informação
capaz de melhor compreender os efeitos das metodologias aplicadas. Também foram
realizados inquéritos aos professores, por um lado, e aos alunos, por outro, da turma, para
sobre a sua perceção acerca do uso das TIC em geral e do uso da Plataforma Moodle nas
salas de aula, bem como vantagens e desvantagens da utilização da mesma. Para análise
dos dados usou-se uma análise qualitativa combinada com elementos de análise
quantitativa. Os resultados obtidos indicam, entre outros resultados, que os docentes
consideram a utilização da Moodle uma mais-valia na aprendizagem dos alunos e que os
alunos acham que todos os professores deveriam utilizar a plataforma Moodle em sala de
aula. Durante este estudo não foram observadas melhorias nos resultados escolares de
grande parte dos alunos envolvidos.
This study presents and analyzes a research on the educational use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) involving the use of the Moodle platform in the first year of the Professional Course Technical of Management of Computer Equipment. The objective of this investigation is to find out how the use of Moodle in the classroom contributes to the collaborative learning in professional courses, particularly in this. For such, interviews were conducted to director of platform Moodle school in order to obtain data about who uses the platform and how they do it; and ICT Coordinator in order to obtain data on the use of ICT in school and given training in this area. With class teachers involved in the study we opted for the Focus Group technique in the final phase of the study to gather information to better understand the effects of the methodologies applied. Surveys were also conducted for class teachers on the one hand, and students in the class on the other, to find out their perception about the use of ICT in general and the use of Moodle in the classroom as well as advantages and disadvantages of using the same. Data analysis used a qualitative analysis combined with elements of quantitative analysis. The results indicate, among other results, that teachers consider the use of Moodle a gain in student learning and students think all teachers should use Moodle in the classroom. During this study, no improvements were observed on school results of many of the students involved.
