Abstract(s)
O presente artigo centra-se na compreensão dos significados dados pelos jovens com trajetórias de risco relativamente ao papel que a família e o grupo de pares exercem sobre as suas trajetórias. Partindo da preocupação da Criminologia Desenvolvimental em abordar fatores potenciadores e inibidores presentes no papel dos dois principais agentes de socialização, neste estudo a abordagem a esses fatores assenta nas perspetivas dos jovens. A amostra do estudo é constituída por 26 jovens, 17 rapazes e 9 raparigas com idades compreendidas entre os 15 e os 24 anos. Na sequência da análise das entrevistas semiestruturadas realizadas aos jovens, concluímos que os fatores mais destacados foram os relacionados com a família, tanto na inibição como na promoção de comportamentos desviantes.
This article focuses on understanding the meanings given by young people with risk trajectories in relation to the role that the family and the peer group have on their trajectories. Based on the concern of Developmental Criminology to approach factors that enhance and inhibit the role of the two main agents of socialization, in this study the approach is based on the perspectives of young people. The study sample consists of 26 young people, 17 boys and 9 girls aged between 15 and 24 years. Following the analysis of semi-structured interviews conducted with young people, we concluded that the most prominent factors were those related to the family, both in inhibiting and promoting deviant behaviors.
