Abstract(s)
O sucesso educativo será porventura o principal objetivo de todos aqueles que,
de uma forma ou de outra, se dedicam à educação. A busca de fatores que promovem o
sucesso educativo, desde relacionais a organizacionais, andará direta ou indiretamente
ligada a todo o estudo sobre educação. Daí, haver vários estudos na busca de fatores de
sucesso, a partir de alunos bem sucedidos e outros, por oposição, a partir de alunos mal
sucedidos. Neste estudo pretende-se, a partir da análise de alunos que manifestaram uma
evolução destacável nos seus resultados académicos, procurar perceber os fatores que
contribuíram para esse volte-face. A dissertação que aqui se pretende resumir tem como
tema “fatores que contribuem para a evolução das aprendizagens dos alunos – estudo de
caso”. A motivação para este tema está estritamente ligada com a ideia pessoal de que
não há educação sem otimismo, sem acreditar que se pode sempre evoluir e, mais do
que perceber o que faz com que os bem sucedidos sejam bem sucedidos, ou o porquê
dos mal sucedidos serem mal sucedidos, centra-se em procurar perceber, em primeiro
lugar, que é possível passar de aluno mal sucedido a bem sucedido e, em segundo lugar,
os fatores que estão na base dessa passagem.
Depois de definir o perfil pretendido e identificar casos de alunos com esse
perfil, recorrendo para isso a uma análise documental dos seus resultados escolares, a
metodologia foi eminentemente qualitativa, a partir de um estudo de caso, privilegiando
os discursos dos atores: alunos e professores que com eles trabalharam diretamente.
Educational success is perhaps the main objective of all those who, in one way or another, are dedicated to education. The search for factors that promote educational success, from relational to organizational, will be directly or indirectly linked to all education study. Hence, there are several studies in the quest for success factors, from successful students and others, by opposition, from unsuccessful students. In this study, we pretend, from the analysis of students who showed a remarkable evolution in their academic results, to seek to understand the factors that contributed to this turnaround. The dissertation that we pretend here to sum up has as theme "factors that contribute to the evolution of student learning - a case study". The motivation for this theme is closely linked with the personal idea that there is no education without optimism, without believing that one can always evolve and, more than understand what makes the successful students are successful, or why unsuccessful ones are unsuccessful, focuses on trying to realize, first of all, that it is possible to move from unsuccessful to successful student and, secondly, the factors that are in the base of this passage. After defining the desired profile and identifying cases of students with this profile, resorting to a documentary analysis of their school results, the methodology was eminently qualitative, based on a case study, privileging the speeches of the actors: students and teachers who worked directly with them.
