Abstract(s)
The following study aims to analyze to what extent the internal communication strategies implemented in the editorial department of SIC can contribute to the well-being of journalists. In this context, research work has been carried out that intersects the fields of Television Journalism and Internal Communication. As internal communication is a comprehensive means of communication, it is interesting for me to investigate, analyze, and understand how this area of communication is established within the organizational culture of a journalistic medium, in this case, the editorial department of SIC. Given that the intersection between the concepts of internal communication and journalistic newsrooms is an underexplored area in current research, this academic work primarily constitutes an attempt to explore the impact of internal communication on the establishment of a journalistic culture within SIC's editorial department. This concept advocates for the quality of the information presented and the behavioral characteristics that influence the work. With this study, I aim to analyze the alignment between the concepts of "internal communication" and the "television medium" applied to the case of SIC, beginning with its journalistic organizational culture and extending to the potential impact it may have on the well-being of SIC's journalists. This analysis will be conducted using available literature, questionnaires, and interviews. Finally, I emphasize the importance of investing in internal communication strategies, such as appropriate technologies and efficient channels, as well as promoting a culture that encourages open dialogue and constructive feedback. It is expected that this study will raise awareness of the relevance of internal communication within the journalistic newsroom of SIC and inspire further research in this area to enhance the company's competitiveness in the media market.
