Os tempos atuais são tempos de muitas e rápidas transformações tecnológicas que alteraram a forma como nos relacionamos e comunicamos. Emergem novas formas de sociabilidade onde já não é necessário estar face a face para interagir ou comunicar.
As novas tecnologias e a internet proporcionam inúmeras potencialidades, mas também acarretam alguns óbices às relações humanas.
Urge refletir sobre as transformações ocorridas no fenómeno da comunicação face a face na cultura marcadamente digital. O espaço escolar impõe-se como o contexto adequado para tal, onde a disciplina de EMRC concede um grande contributo na capacitação dos alunos para o desenvolvimento de competências que lhes permitam ler os mapas de um mundo complexo e acelerado, para que possam viver e atravessá-lo, observando os critérios da dignidade da pessoa humana.
The present times are times of many and rapid technological transformations that change the way we relate and communicate. Emerge new forms of sociability where it is no longer necessary to be face to face to interact or communicate. New technologies and the internet have enabled innumerable potentialities, but they also entail some obstacles to human relations. It is urgent to reflect on the transformations that occurred in the phenomenon of face-to-face communication in the markedly digital culture. School space is the appropriate context for this, where the EMRC discipline makes a great contribution to empowering students to develop skills that enable them to read the maps of a complex and hasty world so that they can live and cross it, observing the standard of the dignity of the human person.
