Abstract(s)
O presente relatório surge no âmbito do Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico Cirúrgica,
do ICS da UCP. Este trabalho permite reflectir sobre o percurso efectuado durante a prática
clínica nos estágios em Urgência e Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos. Faz referência à
metodologia aplicada na implementação do projecto predefinido, realça os aspectos positivos e
negativos relacionados com cada serviço. Coloca em destaque as competências adquiridas
como Enfermeira Especialista em Enfermagem Médico Cirúrgica bem como quais as
dificuldades sentidas na implementação das actividades delineadas para cada campo de
estágio. Será também fundamentada a creditação atribuída ao módulo opcional referente ao
perioperatório, realçando as competências adquiridas na prática profissional.
Promover um cuidado de Enfermagem centrado à pessoa na sua vertente multidimensional,
física, psicológica, social e espiritual foi o grande objectivo a atingir nos dois campos de
estágio. O respeito pelo doente crítico e família é o “CORE” do cuidado humanizado no qual é
estabelecida uma relação de confiança que segundo OLIVEIRA e LOPES (2010) consiste na
atenção dispensada pela enfermeira à promoção do conforto do cliente.
As áreas temáticas seleccionadas para análise, planeamento de actividades e desenvolvimento
de competências como Enfermeira Especialista incluíram a Humanização, Gestão de Risco e
Controlo de Infecção.
A intervenção de Enfermagem no âmbito da especialidade teve um papel dinamizador no
desenvolvimento e suporte de iniciativas estratégicas nas áreas temáticas, tendo por base
evidência científica. Foi dado ênfase ao conforto e a actuação de Enfermagem incidiu
essencialmente nas fases de transição do doente e família promovendo a adaptação à nova
realidade. Para este trabalho foi fundamental mobilizar os recursos do doente e capacitá-lo na
resposta às situações stressantes desenvolvendo estratégias de coping eficazes. A partilha de
conhecimentos e o desenvolvimento estratégico colocaram em destaque a optimização da
qualidade de cuidados e a satisfação das equipas de Enfermagem.
As competências adquiridas incluem naturalmente a análise de situações complexas
identificando problemas na prática, e desenvolvimento de objectivos face a situações problema para as quais são realizadas actividades fundamentadas por estudos nas áreas citadas.
This report comes under the Master Course in Medical Surgical Nursing, ICS UCP. This work allows us to reflect on the journey made during clinical practice placements in Emergency and Intensive Care Unit. It refers to the methodology applied in implementing the default project, emphasizes the positive and negative aspects related to each service. The work highlights the skills acquired as a Nurse Specialist in Medical Surgical Nursing and what are the difficulties encountered in implementing the activities outlined for each training field. It will also be substantiated the accreditation given to referring to the perioperative optional module, enhancing the skills acquired in professional practice. Promote a centered nursing care to the person in their multidimensional aspects, physical, psychological, social and spiritual was the major objective to be achieved in two fields of training. Respect for the critically ill patient and family is the “CORE” of humanized care which establishes a relationship of trust that the second and OLIVEIRA LOPES (2010) is the attention given by nurses to promote client comfort. The thematic areas selected for analysis, planning activities and development of skills such as Specialist Nurse included Humanization, Risk Management and Infection Control. The nursing intervention within the specialty had a leading role in developing and supporting strategic initiatives in the thematic areas based on scientific evidence. Emphasis was given to the comfort and performance of nursing focused mainly on the transitional stages of the patient and family by promoting adaptation to the new reality. For this work was essential to mobilize the resources of the patient and enable him in response to stressful situations by developing effective coping strategies. Knowledge sharing and strategic development put in focus the optimizing quality of care and satisfaction of nursing teams. The skills acquired naturally include the analysis of complex situations, identifying problems in practice, and development objectives in the face of problem situations for which activities are undertaken substantiated by studies in the areas cited.
