| dc.description.abstract | A pandemia causada pela Covid-19 trouxe várias mudanças à nossa forma de viver e perante esta realidade, torna-se importante investir na educação para a saúde e na promoção da saúde em contexto escolar. A escola foi o setting escolhido para a intervenção de enfermagem comunitária, desenvolvida numa UCC, sendo que a população alvo selecionada foram os cuidadores dos jovens com necessidades de saúde especiais. Para se obter um contributo a nível da promoção da saúde, é importante apostar na literacia em saúde, para tal, no âmbito do estágio de especialidade de Enfermagem em Saúde Comunitária e Saúde Pública, foram desenvolvidas atividades inerentes ao projeto de intervenção comunitária em que se utilizou a metodologia do planeamento em saúde segundo (Imperatori & Giraldes, 1982) e o referencial teórico de Betty Neuman. Para o diagnóstico de situação foi aplicado um questionário destinado a 13 cuidadores (11 encarregados de educação e 2 assistentes operacionais) do Centro de apoio à aprendizagem de uma escola secundária abrangida pela UCC. Com base nos resultados, definiu-se como prioritária a intervenção no diagnóstico de enfermagem relacionado com a aquisição de conhecimentos sobre a Covid-19, bem como o desenvolvimento de estratégias de coping. Mediante os objetivos e metas propostos, recorreu-se a uma estratégia de intervenção educacional utilizando a educação para a saúde através de sessões de educação para a saúde programadas e executadas conjuntamente em ambos os sistemas, com o intuito de capacitar os cuidadores destes jovens para se adaptarem ao contexto pandémico. Terminada a intervenção, seguiu-se uma avaliação da mesma, da qual se destaca que foi possível reforçar as linhas de defesa flexíveis dos cuidadores, ou seja, foi possível a atualização e mobilização dos conhecimentos da população alvo. O estágio proporcionou um enriquecimento e crescimento pessoal e profissional, sendo promotor de mudança pessoal, profissional e educacional. Permitiu a reflexão prática e a procura da excelência da profissão através de aquisição de competências comuns do enfermeiro especialista e específicas da Enfermagem de Saúde Comunitária e Saúde Pública. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The pandemic caused by Covid-19 brought several changes to our way of life and, given this reality, it is important to invest in health education and health promotion in school settings. The school was the setting chosen for the community nursing intervention, developed in a CCU, and the selected target population was the caregivers of young people with special health needs. To contribute to health promotion, it is important to focus on health literacy. Therefore, within the scope of the specialty internship in community health and public health nursing, activities inherent to the community intervention project were developed using the health planning methodology according to (Imperatori & Giraldes, 1982) and Betty Neuman's theoretical framework. For the diagnosis of the situation, a questionnaire was applied to 13 caregivers (11 parents and 2 operational assistants) of the Learning Support Center of a Secondary School covered by the CCU. Based on the results, we defined as a priority the intervention in the nursing diagnosis related to the acquisition of knowledge about Covid-19, as well as the development of coping strategies. Based on the proposed objectives and goals, we used an educational intervention strategy using health education through jointly planned and executed health education sessions in both systems, with the purpose of empowering the caregivers of these young people to adapt to the pandemic context. Once the intervention was completed, an evaluation of the intervention followed, from which we highlight that it was possible to reinforce the caregivers' flexible lines of defense, i.e., it was possible to update and mobilize the target population's knowledge. The internship provided personal and professional enrichment and growth, promoting personal, professional, and educational change. It allowed for practical reflection and the pursuit of excellence in the profession through the acquisition of common skills of the specialist nurse and specific skills of Community Health Nursing and Public Health. | pt_PT |
