Abstract(s)
Este trabalho destina-se a relatar as experiências obtidas no contexto de atividade clínica na Universidade Católica Portuguesa – Centro Regional das Beiras, durante o ano lectivo 2014/2015. As situações aqui expostas descrevem, por área disciplinar, todo o processo de aprendizagem envolvido na abordagem feita em cada paciente, os procedimentos efetuados nas diferentes variantes de patologias clínicas, os conhecimentos adquiridos assim como as vivências experienciadas ao longo deste processo. De notar a constante influência instrutiva dos docentes de cada área disciplinar que ajudaram no desenvolvimento da conduta académica e aprendizagem profissional.
Como se trata de um curso multidisciplinar é feita uma descrição e análise por área disciplinar, por ordem alfabética: Cirurgia Oral, Dentisteria Operatória, Endodontia, Medicina Oral, Oclusão, Odontopediatria, Ortodontia, Periodontologia, Prótese Fixa e Prótese Removível.
No presente relatório é, também, feita uma análise estatística tendo como variantes o género, a idade, as diferentes patologias clínicas encontradas, tratamentos efetuados, sintomatologia, estado oral atual de cada paciente e números de atos clínicos como operador ou assistente em cada área disciplinar. Todos os dados foram adquiridos durante os dois semestres, unicamente em doentes da clínica universitária e, os quais, de alguma forma, foram tratados pelo binómio durante a atividade clínica. Os resultados obtidos são apresentados em gráficos e/ou tabelas estatísticas com os dados registados em plataforma EXCEL.
This paper is meant to describe the experience obtained by the author, in the context of clinical activity in the Universidade Católica Portuguesa during the 2014/2015 school year. The situations here exposed describe, by area, the approach made to each patient, as the author proceeded in the different variants of clinical pathologies, the knowledge and learning acquired as well as the experiences during this process. It’s to note the constant instructive influence from the professors in each subject area that helped the author during her academic conduct and her professional schooling. As it is a multidisciplinary course, a description and analysis is made by subject area that are, in alphabetic order: Dentistry, Endodontics, Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, Occlusion, Oral Medicine, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontology. In this report is also done a statistic analysis having as variants sex, age, different found clinical pathologies, treatments preformed, symptomatology, current oral state of each patient and the number of clinical acts as operator or assistant in each subject area. Every data were acquired during the two semesters, only in university clinic patients and whom, in some way, were treated by the author’s binomial during the clinical activity. The obtained results are presented in graphs and/or statistics tables with the data registered in Excel platform.
