Abstract(s)
Este é um relatório de actividade profissional para conclusão do Mestrado em
Ciências da Educação, especialização em Administração e Organização Escolar. Numa
primeira parte, recordo as minhas experiências de vida e os aspectos que considero mais
marcantes e que mais contribuíram para que me tornasse na profissional que hoje sou e,
partindo das minhas memórias, procuro compreender o meu percurso profissional à luz
das exigências da docência introduzidas pela escola de massas. Saliento, por isso, os
fenómenos que ocorreram com a massificação do ensino, realçando as muitas
transformações que aconteceram nas escolas, assim como o alargamento dos papéis e
das tarefas exigidas aos professores.
Na segunda parte, abordo algumas estratégias que acredito serem essenciais para
que consiga prosseguir com otimismo o futuro da docência e recuperar o ânimo e o
alento que o grupo profissional parece ter vindo a perder.
This is a professional activity report to conclude a Master degree in Educational Sciences, specialization in School Administration and Organization. In the first part, I recall my life experiences and the moments which I consider to be the most important in my career and the ones that have contributed to the professional I am today. From these memories, I try to understand my career path at the light of teaching demands introduced by the massifcation of Portuguese schools. I emphasize not only the phenomena that occurred with it, but also the changes which schools have been through and the enlargement of teacher’s roles and tasks. In the second part, I refer some strategies that I believe to be essential to continue with optimism my career as a teacher and some ways that may help this professional group recover the strengh and the spirit that has been losing through time.
