A importância da Transformação Digital nos Recursos Humanos foi particularmente acentuada pela pandemia de COVID-19, que acelerou a digitalização e redefiniu as práticas tradicionais. A integração de tecnologias inovadoras, como Inteligência Artificial (IA) e automação, é apresentada como determinante para a eficiência operacional. O objetivo deste trabalho é perceber o potencial da implementação de chatbots na área dos Recursos Humanos (RH) e de que forma essa implementação é aceite pelos colaboradores. Com o propósito de explorar este tema, o trabalho aborda a aplicação de assistentes digitais nos RH, com especial ênfase na IA e nos chatbots. A análise detalhada dos assistentes digitais destaca a sua evolução, evidenciando a sua versatilidade em diversas funções, desde a automação de tarefas rotineiras até ao suporte em programas de formação e desenvolvimento. A implementação bem-sucedida de assistentes digitais nos RH é reconhecida por oferecer vantagens significativas e desafios, que serão discutidos neste trabalho. Através da realização de um inquérito por questionário, procurou-se perceber qual a perspetiva de trabalhadores sobre a adoção e aceitação da implementação de HR Bots nas organizações onde trabalham. A conclusão sublinha a importância da gestão da mudança, do desenvolvimento contínuo de competências digitais e da compreensão ética na adoção de assistentes digitais nos RH. Encoraja-se os profissionais de RH a adotarem a inovação, ao mesmo tempo que mantêm uma consciência constante das dimensões humanas do trabalho, garantindo uma transição bem-sucedida no contexto em evolução constante da Transformação Digital. Ao adotar uma postura proativa e ética, os profissionais de RH podem otimizar a implementação de assistentes digitais, assegurando que estes estejam alinhados com as necessidades e valores das pessoas envolvidas.
The importance of Digital Transformation in Human Resources has been particularly accentuated by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has accelerated digitization and redefined traditional practices. The integration of innovative technologies, such as artificial intelligence and automation, is presented as a determining factor for operational efficiency. The aim of this work is to understand the potential of implementing chatbots in the area of Human Resources (HR) and how this implementation is accepted by employees. In order to explore this topic, the paper addresses the application of digital assistants in HR, with special emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and chatbots. The detailed analysis of digital assistants highlights their evolution, highlighting their versatility in various functions, from automating routine tasks to supporting training and development programs. The successful implementation of digital assistants in HR is recognized as offering significant advantages and challenges, which will be discussed in this paper. By conducting a questionnaire survey, we sought to understand the perspective of employees on the adoption and acceptance of the implementation of HR Bots in the organizations where they work. The conclusion highlights the importance of change management, continuous development of digital skills and ethical understanding in the adoption of digital assistants in HR. HR professionals are encouraged to embrace innovation while maintaining a constant awareness of the human dimensions of work, ensuring a successful transition in the constantly evolving context of Digital Transformation. By adopting a proactive and ethical stance, HR professionals can optimize the implementation of digital assistants, ensuring that they are aligned with the needs and values of the people involved.
