Abstract(s)
Teaching should not be restricted to the accomplishment of goals or objectives, but should be of assistance in the process of learning in order to help students to build up their future and personality. This leads to the proposal of a behavior of proper examination, acceptance of the others and fidelity to Jesus Gospel. On the basis of my experience from lecturing the 2nd Unit “Ecumenism” of the 8th grade, during the “Supervised Teaching and Practice”, and also from gathered information in bibliographic research on the unity of the Church, I’m proposing a (tiny) input for students training grounded on the gathered information concerning ecumenical task repercussions and its role to the construction of a more human society. The core of Ecumenism is a step by step search for the truly human in the light of the Gospel, on a pedagogical itinerary that enables everybody to build up their key capacities for living together, starting a journey of dialogue with the courage to trust in the gifts of the other.
