Adotando uma conceção de dom de inspiração maussiana, isto é, compreendendo a experiência de dádiva como uma relação de troca simbólica que tem a sua razão de ser na abertura ao outro, este texto reflete sobre a forma como esse tipo de relação se traduz na criação de vínculo social e influencia a forma como se pensa a sociabilidade. No essencial, entende-se que a complexidade da relação de dom não se deixa sucumbir por explicações lógicas que reduzem a realidade social a um universo apreendido por regras. O dom não pode ser explicado por uma lógica de reciprocidade autorreferencial que transcende os gestos concretos entre os autores da relação.
Adopting a conception of maussiana inspired gift , that is , understanding the gift of experience as a symbolic exchange relationship that has its reason for being in openness to the other , this text reflects on how this type of relationship translates the creation of social ties and influences the way one thinks sociability . Essentially, it is understood that the complexity of the gift relationship does not let succumb to logical explanations that reduce the social reality to a universe apprehended by rules. The gift cannot be explained by a self-referential logic of reciprocity that transcends the concrete gestures between the authors of the relationship.
