Redescobrir a centralidade que a Palavra de Deus tem para a vida cristã foi uma das
mais importantes conquistas do Concílio Vaticano II. A fecundidade desta redescoberta
estendeu-se aos mais variados campos da vida eclesial dando inúmeros frutos nos anos pósconciliares.
Pretende esta dissertação indagar acerca desses mesmos frutos no contexto do espaço
celebrativo. Recordando a importância da relação entre a Palavra de Deus e a celebração
litúrgica, procuramos de que forma foi sendo o espaço da celebração transformado por forma
a melhor realçar esta importante redescoberta conciliar, permitindo assim uma tradução
prática, também ao nível arquitectónico, daqueles que são os grandes intentos conciliares.
Rediscovering the centrality that the Word of God has for the Cristian life was one of the most important achievements of the Second Vatican Council. The fecundity of this rediscovery has spread to the most varied fields of ecclesial life, bearing fruit in the postconciliar years. This dissertation intents to reflect about these same fruits, especially in the context of the celebrative space. Recalling the importance of the relation between the Word of God and the liturgical celebration, we have investigated in which way the celebrative space transformed so as to better highlight this important conciliar rediscovery, thus allowing a practical concretization, also at the architectural level, of those who are the greatest conciliar attempts.
