Abstract(s)
Theater presents itself as an activity that is not indifferent to the human spirit, where its pedagogical dimension appears as one of its main characteristics. In addition to highlighting the close relationship between theatrical language and the religious dimension, this work tries to establish some principles for a dramatic pedagogy that can be applied to the teaching of the Catholic Religious Moral Education discipline. In the first part, an interception is made between religion and theater based on the foundational element that denounces this interception - the mask. In the second part, the importance of theater in the Christian tradition is highlighted, emphasizing this importance in the light of a current practical theology. Finally, in the third part, we report the pedagogical intervention carried out in a primary school where the results of a pedagogical strategy of teaching religion and morals based on the theater are presented.
