Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho corresponde ao relatório de uma investigação conducente à obtenção do grau de Doutoramento em Ciências da Educação, área de aprofundamento em Pedagogia Social e intitula-se “Hospitalidade e Liderança Pedagógico-Organizacional – um desafio para as instituições sociais e educativas”.
Do ponto de vista teórico, o estudo enquadra-se na Pedagogia Social, reconhecida como ciência da educação referente aos processos de educação e formação ao longo da vida, assumindo, neste caso, uma visão socioantropológica da educação onde a hospitalidade se apresenta como uma categoria relacional, a qual confere às práticas de liderança pedagógico-organizacional novos valores e princípios.
Do ponto de vista empírico, optou-se por um estudo de caso enquadrado pelo paradigma interpretativo, tendo por base o recurso à pesquisa documental e à inquirição de atores, feita através de entrevistas semiestruturadas. No essencial, e tal como surge exposto, os dados recolhidos e analisados permitiram fundamentar a importância da hospitalidade como valor de relação humana e, nessa medida, como princípio de liderança pedagógico-organizacional, sugerindo nesse sentido a necessidade de formação dos atores, designadamente no âmbito das instituições sociais e educativas.
The present work corresponds to the report of an investigation leading to the obtainment of a Doctorate degree in Educational Sciences, an area of deepening in Social Pedagogy being entitled as “Hospitality and Organizational Pedagogical Leadership – a challenge for social and educational institutions”. From a theoretical point of view, the study fits into Social Pedagogy, recognized as a science of education related to the processes of education and training throughout life, assuming in this case a socio-anthropological vision of education where hospitality is presented as a relational category, which gives organizational pedagogical leadership new values and principles. From an empirical point of view, we opted to embrace a study framed by the interpretive paradigm, based on the use of documentary research and the questioning of actors, carried out through semi-structured interviews. In essence, and as shown above, the data collected and analyzed allowed to substantiate the importance of hospitality as a value of human relationship and, to that extent, as a principle of organizational pedagogical leadership, thus suggesting the need for training of actors, namely in the context of social and educational institutions.
