Abstract(s)

Objective: To identify health gains in the context of youth health in a school context, through the development of a community intervention project and to identify the contributions of the family nurse to addressing the problems identified in the project in the context of family health, in a USF. Population: In Module I and II, students of the 1st year of the professional courses of a Professional School of Porto and in Module III, the users and families enrolled in the list of a family nurse of a USF. Method: In Module I and II, a pre-test was applied, followed by a questionnaire, analysed through the IBM SPSS application and performed all phases of Health Planning between May 2017 and January 2018. In Module III, was performed from the suggested diagnostic activity in the MDAIF operational matrix between November 2017 and January 2018. Discussion of results: From Module I and II, students were found to had inadequate knowledge and beliefs regarding Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI), community resources, contraceptive methods, substance dependence and no substance and directed violence to others regarding dating violence, bullying, and cyberbullying. This group of adolescents maintains an attitude of vulnerability regarding the consumption of games/internet and risk of contracting STI. In view of the problems identified, the problems were prioritized through the peer-comparison technique and the collaboration of two experts in the area, with "Susceptibility to STI" and "Risks of Violence addressed to others [dating]”. After the remaining phases of health planning and intervention evaluation, a questionnaire was applied, resulting in a 10% decrease in susceptibility to STI and a 37.3% reduction in the risk of violence directed at others. From Module III, it was verified that the family presents need for intervention in the three dimensions of MDAIF. Conclusion: The developed stage allowed favourable context for the development of the necessary competences for the exercise as Nurse Specialist in Community Health Nursing, allowing to produce gains in health for the community in which we intervene and simultaneously the development of academic competences to acquire the Master degree in Nursing.
