dc.description.abstractO presente relatório de estágio propõe uma reflexão sobre a inovação na televisão na era digital, tendo como estudo de caso a RTP, serviço público de Rádio e Televisão de Portugal, com presença também em plataformas digitais. Numa época marcada pelos mais variados desafios comunicacionais, é necessário saber inovar e entender o que prende a atenção dos leitores, o que pode ser sustentável ou ter sucesso a nível editorial. Deste modo, a partir da reflexão sobre o jornalismo televisivo e das alterações que surgiram com a passagem para a era digital, propõe-se analisar como está a RTP Notícias a inovar a nível editorial nos produtos, formatos e conteúdos que coloca no website, entender que estratégias utiliza para se adaptar aos desafios da televisão digital, especificamente ao nível da comunicação com o público, e se as estratégias de inovação estão a ser bem-sucedidas, de acordo com os entrevistados. Para responder a este objetivo, foi feita uma análise de conteúdo complementada com entrevistas a profissionais da multimédia. Apesar de a RTP não ser uma nativa digital, os resultados demonstram um esforço na exploração das potencialidades oferecidas pelo ambiente digital, mas estão ainda aquém do que se poderia esperar de um serviço público.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractThis report proposes a reflection on innovation in television in the digital age, having as a case study RTP, a public service of Radio and Television of Portugal, also present in digital platforms. In an age marked by the most varied communication challenges, it is necessary to know how to innovate and understand what holds readers' attention, which can be sustainable or be successful at the editorial level. Thus, from the reflection on television journalism and the changes that have arisen with the transition to the digital age, it is proposed to analyze how RTP Notícias is innovating at the editorial level in the products, formats and contents that it places on the website, understand what strategies it uses to adapt to the challenges of digital television, specifically at the level of communication with the public, and whether innovation strategies are succeeding, according to the interviewees. A content analysis complemented with interviews to the multimedia professionals has taken place, in order to answer this objective. Although RTP is not a digital native, the results demonstrate an effort to exploit the potential offered by the digital environment, but also that they are still far short of what could be expected from a public service.pt_PT
