This project is developed in an internship context which focuses on a management approach that seeks to enhance the tacit and explicit knowledge of an organization and its employees. Globalization transformed the knowledge management into one of the key areas of organizational improvement. The approach through the management of intangible value comes as a distinctive device in today’s competitive environment, and it’s also a complementary path to the one adopted during the industrial era. However, this management model is still debated, mainly by the supporters of the business’ tangible value. In consonance with other discipline, as marketing, skills management and information technologies, the purpose is to create an environment capable of working the employees’ soft and hard skills and use them as a distinctive device in the relationship with stakeholders. Moreover, there’s series of procedures used to enhance the share of knowledge, such as the Communities of Practice. The stimulus of formal and informal relationships within an organization is made in a way so that people may exchange ideas in order to create new strategies. This internship occurred in this setting and it took place in PwC’s Knowledge Management department. The tasks developed focus on creation, coding and transmission of knowledge, with the purpose to improve central services. This experiment was methodologically structured in a action research prism and, as an active observer, I came out with solutions to improve researches. Due to the complexity founded it is suggested the stimulus of brainstorming tasks and focus group in order to improve the interaction between knowledge employees.
