Abstract(s)
adolescentes. Assim, sugerimos, a replicação deste estudo junto duma amostra representativa
With social networks, the concept of friendship seems to have changed. To build a friendship in real life it is necessary a mutual desire to know each other and the relationship is built in private, while on social networks it only requires a click on someone to become your friend and to have access to everything you publish. In this sense, this study has as general objective to understand how social networks interfere in the affective relationships of adolescents. A total of 127 students from a public school in the municipality of Braga participated. The instruments used were a sociodemographic data questionnaire and the ERPER Inventory - Experiences in Close Relationships - Relational Structures (Moreira e Canavarro, em 2015). For the statistical analysis of the data, descriptive and inferential methods were performed. The results showed statistically significant relationships between: the age of the adolescents and the global media of the ERP-ER scale of the mother; the affective relations and the year of schooling; the social networks used and the year of schooling. There were, however, no significant relationships between the social networks used and the affective relationships of adolescents. So, we suggest the replication of this study with a representative sample of adolescent students at national level and in contexts of public and private education.
