Abstract(s)
In recent years, more and more people have noticed the importance of the Portuguese language in Macao, and more and more educational institutions are offering Portuguese courses. Thus many parents expect their children to know how to speak Portuguese. To increase the learners' interest and effectiveness in learning, it is important to constantly improve teaching methods and try to look for teaching methods that are appropriate for the target group. That is why the idea of teaching Portuguese with didactic games emerged, which not only helps Chinese students to express themselves more easily in Portuguese but also increases the atmosphere in Portuguese classes. This report was written to explore the possibility of teaching the simple perfect past tense and the imperfect past tense through creative didactic games in the Portuguese as a Foreign Language class with Chinese learners. It is expected that using the didactic games in the Portuguese class has a positive effect on the development of their multiple intelligences and their learning attitude.
