Abstract(s)
Today's organizations face more and more challenges, the changes experienced by them are more and more frequent, as well as the crises that are more and more recurrent. As such, there is an increasing need to think differently about organizations, understand the various elements and enhance them, and rethink management methods. Internal communication is also a field in constant evolution, which has several capacities to assist the management of the organisation and the achievement of its objectives. The EDP Group is not indifferent to these new paradigms, always recognised as innovative, in the field of management and the way it communicates. However, it has several challenges, such as the fact that it is present in several countries and that it is an organisation that leads thousands of employees. Thus, it is in permanent alarm about the possibility of enhancing the positive management of its people as well as of the elements that make up the organization. Internal communication within the EDP Group is a form of aid to the positive management of the organisation. In this dissertation it was possible to understand the urgency of taking internal communication as relevant, but above all strategic, so that it can best fulfil its potential. Insofar as internal communication not only informs, but also promotes the vision and sharing of a common culture, it recognises employees, motivates them, involves them and encourages them to commit to the organisation. Culminating in the enormous strategic capacity to promote a positive organizational environment, in which employees feel happier and, in turn, more productive
