Perante a importância que o desporto, e o futebol em particular, tem na nossa sociedade, uma abordagem relativamente a umas das figuras mais importantes nesse meio, o treinador principal e a sua equipa técnica, e a forma como é tratada no nosso ordenamento jurídico, é algo tanto relevante como interessante de se realizar. Ao longo desta dissertação irão ser abordados temas como a figura do treinador principal, o regime jurídico dos praticantes desportivos e o seu relacionamento com o treinador principal, o contrato de trabalho desportivo e até a figura do contrato de trabalho de grupo e a possível aplicação que poderia ser atribuída a este tipo de contrato, caso existisse no nosso ordenamento jurídico. É realizada também uma proposta relativa à criação de um regime de contrato de trabalho de grupo, sempre analisada na ótica do desporto e de como poderia ser aplicável à questão da contratação de uma equipa técnica.
Given the importance that sport, and football in particular, has in our society, an approach to one of the most important figures in this field, the head coach and his technical team, and the way in which they are treated in our legal system, is both a relevant and interesting to do. Throughout this dissertation, topics such as the figure of the head coach, the legal regime of sports practitioners and its relationship with the head coach, the sports employment contract and even the figure of the group work contract and its possible application that could be attributed to this type of contract, if it existed in our legal system, will be addressed. A proposal is also made regarding the creation of a group work contract regime, always analyzed from the perspective of sport and how it could be applied to the issue of hiring a technical team.
