O conceito de ἀγάπη é importante na teologia paulina sobre tudo em 1 Cor onde a comunidade, apesar da sua fé em Jesus Cristo, enfrentava muitos problemas e conflitos internos. Assim, o objetivo principal desta dissertação é desenvolver o conceito de ἀγάπη em Paulo que se concentra em 1 Cor 13. A seguir, vemos que o Apóstolo faz um comentário, de forma hínica, sobre o amor, privilegiando o conceito ἀγάπη, como amor supremo que Deus tem para com a humanidade. Desta forma, o hino do amor ou caminho por excelência é para Paulo um guia essencial para superar os problemas da comunidade de Corinto, de modo que os crentes possam viver uma vida cristã autêntica no meio das tensões e divisões da comunidade.
The concept of ἀγάπη is important in Pauline theology particularly in the1 Cor where the community, despite their faith in Jesus Christ, faced many problems and internal conflicts. Hence, the main objective of this dissertation is to develop the concept of ἀγάπη in Paul which has been concentrated in 1 Cor 13. Accordingly, we observe that Apostle comments, in a hymnical manner, on the topic of love, favoring the concept of ἀγάπη, as the supreme love that God has towards humanity. Therefore, the hymn of love or way par excellence is for Paul an essential guide to overcome the problems of the Corinthian community so that believers can live an authentic Christian life amid the tensions and divisions of the community.
