Abstract(s)
Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar a influência que a satisfação laboral sobre o
clima organizacional a par da forma como estes dois constructos são também eles
influenciados pelas caraterísticas pessoais e laborais dos sujeitos, numa autarquia do norte de
Portugal, organização pública de elevado relevo local. Assim a amostra é constituída por 129
colaboradores desta autarquia que responderam à «Escala de Clima Social no Trabalho»
(Moos et al., 1974) e ao «Cuestionário de satisfaccion laboral S20/23» (Meliá & Peiró, 1989).
Os resultados indicam que o clima organizacional percecionado pelos colaboradores é
influenciado pela satisfação laboral que estes demonstram, sobretudo a satisfação com a
supervisão, que se revela um estimador do clima organizacional em todas as subescalas
analisadas e que ambos os constructos são influenciados pelas variáveis organizacionais,
destacando-se entre estas, os departamentos a que pertencem. Esta investigação poderá servir
para enfatizar a importância da satisfação laboral dos colaboradores dentro das organizações e
para demonstrar como esta pode ser uma ferramenta para alcançar níveis de clima
organizacional vantajosos para as organizações.
This study aims to analyze the influence that job satisfaction over the organizational climate and the way in which these two constructs are also influenced by the personal and work characteristics of the subjects, in an autarchy on the north of Portugal, a public organization of local high relief. Thus, the sample is made up of 129 employees of this autarchy who responded to the "Social Climate at Work Scale" (Moos et al., 1974) and the "Satisfaction Questionnaire S20 / 23" (Meliá & Peiró, 1989). The results indicate that the organizational climate perceived by the employees is influenced by the job satisfaction they demonstrate, above all, satisfaction with supervision, which proves to be an estimator of the organizational climate in all subscales analyzed and that both constructs are influenced by organizational variables, Highlighting among them the departments to which they belong. This research may serve to emphasize the importance of employees' job satisfaction within organizations and to demonstrate how this can be a tool to achieve organizational climate levels that are advantageous to organizations.
