Abstract(s)
Contudo, a investigação evidência
Segundo a
do EEECSP.
pessoais e competências profissionais específicas do EEECSP.
Adolescence is seen as a period of human development that involves several changes at different levels, and interpersonal and socio-cultural factors influence its growth. The instability inherent in this phase coincides with the beginning of sexual activity for a significant number of young people. However, the research shows that this activity is carried out (often) with risk behaviours associated. Given this situation, health promotion using sex education, as a strategy, is considered one of the forms of prevention associated with the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents. In this context, the school emerges as a highly privileged connection for carrying out health promotion through sex education. According to scientific evidence, promoting sex education should be achieved with the development of partnerships between health, education, students, and family. As a way of intervening in the problem, a community intervention program was developed with a group of students from a school in the UCC intervention area, where the internship took place. Based on the issues identified in the context of sexuality in adolescence seeking to contribute to obtaining potential gains in health, the project was implemented together with the development of professional skills specific to the EEECSP. To this end, its plan was based on the health planning methodology of Imperatori & Giraldes (1993), which allowed a guiding and reasoned line regarding the various decisions taken and the achievement of more efficient results. The Murdaugh Health Promotion Model, Pender Health (2019), was structuring for the conceptualization of work within the scope of health promotion. In an attempt to meet the complexity of sexuality in adolescence, an intervention was carried out and aimed at a group of teenagers between 15 and 19 years old from a school where SPS activities were developed with the objective of increasing students’ knowledge as a way of training to make healthy choices, promoting reflection and awareness as a way of a healthy living sexuality. These were the key aspects for the positive evolution and evaluation of this path that supported potential gains in health in the area of sexuality in adolescence, with an improvement in the quality of care and also with the development of personal and professional skills specific to the EEECSP.
