A necessidade de cuidados especializados à criança e família nas áreas da Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica requer processos de formação sistemáticos e diferenciados. Este relatório descreve de forma crítica o processo de desenvolvimento de competências especializadas na área, integrando processos formativos e experiencias profissionais anteriores e um estágio na área dos cuidados de saúde primários. Tendo como ponto de partida os objetivos gerais propostos no plano de estudos do curso, foram delineados objetivos específicos, que foram sistematizados num projeto, que orientaram o planeamento e concretização de atividades, assim como a mobilização dos conhecimentos adquiridos ao longo de todo o percurso profissional e pessoal já efetuado. O estágio no âmbito da saúde escolar permitiu conhecer vários projetos de intervenção operacionalizados pela equipa de saúde escolar, assentes nos pressupostos do Plano Nacional de Saúde Escolar, contribuindo para o aprofundamento e partilha de conhecimentos e configurando-se como de particular importância para o alicerçar de saber nesta área específica. Também o contacto com a dinâmica dos projetos da parentalidade, em contexto comunitário, permitiu tomar consciência do papel do Enfermeiro Especialista em Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica no apoio, no suporte e no reforço positivo às ações parentais, sempre no superior interesse da criança. Refletir, de forma crítica e sistemática, sobre todo este percurso, foi essencial para a maturação do caráter reflexivo, crítico e deontológico-profissional, contribuindo, inequivocamente, para a aquisição de competências especializadas de enfermagem em contexto de saúde escolar e em contextos de parentalidade.
The need for specialized care to children and families in Child and Pediatric Health Nursing fields, requires systematic and differentiated training processes. This report critically describes the development of expertise in the theme, integrating formative processes, previous professional experiences and an internship in the subject of primary health care. The general objectives proposed in the course study plan were outlined as a starting point and specific objectives were organized in a project that have guided the planning and implementation of activities, as well as the mobilization of knowledge gained throughout the professional and personal journey ever performed. The school health internship allowed to meet various intervention projects operated by the school health team, based on the assumptions of the Nacional School Health Plan, contributing to the deepening and sharing of knowledge in this area. Also, the contact with the dynamics of parenting projects, in the community setting, has become aware of the role of the Child and Pediatric Specialist Nurse in the support and positive reinforcement to parental actions, always in the child best interest. Consider and reflect through a critical and systematic view about the theme was essential to the development of the reflective, critical and deontological character, contributing unequivocally, to acquire nursing expertise in both school health context and in parenting context.
