Abstract(s)
The school environment is a multidisciplinary place filled with experiences and life stories. It is the formative space that prepares the child for social interaction and equips them with the necessary intellectual, social, and emotional skills. School is also a workplace, and like in any other, professionals may experience relational conflicts that negatively impact the school routine. Some professionals may not understand each other's roles, or the changes occurring in their lives, or even their life stories, which shape their personalities. An educator is, first and foremost, a unique individual, with their own life story, peculiarities, feelings, and expectations. Special education has specific demands and structural difficulties that extend beyond the school walls, such as prejudice present in our society, insufficient public policies, lack of preparation for professionals, and family difficulties. The applied techniques aimed to facilitate bonds between professionals and the structuring of educational actions. One of the gains developed during the follow-up was the creation of the Individual Development Plan (IDP), which will be applied to each student. After implementing the methodologies present in this work, professionals came to better understand their role in the institution, their function in the life of a child with special educational needs, and the importance of each member of the school.
