In una società in continuo cambiamento, la crisi dei valori, intesi come punti di
riferimenti, è un fenomeno oramai tangibile a vari livelli. Questa crisi tocca di una forma o di
un'altra, tutte le dimensioni della vita dell’uomo. Ed è in questa situazione che s’inquadra
anche la grande sofferenza che sta vivendo la Famiglia e il Matrimonio, e da dove deriva
l’impressionante «emorragia» di separazioni.
Davanti alla terribile ferita del divorzio, la Chiesa si è trovata a dovere affrontare la
complicata questione dei fedeli che, dopo il fallimento del proprio matrimonio, decidono per
una nuova unione. Instaurando così un legame che si pone in contrasto con quello che è il
significato del Matrimonio sacramentale.
Le conseguenze di questa realtà sono per un lato, una limitazione alla partecipazione
della vita ecclesiale, e per altro lato la impossibilita dell’accesso ai sacramenti della
Riconciliazione e dell´Eucarestia.
Queste situazioni che un tempo erano numericamente marginali, oggi sono un
fenomeno diffuso anche tra i cattolici. La Chiesa si è trovata a porsi la domanda di come poter
aiutare questi fedeli. Come rispondere alle differenti richieste di comprensione e aiuto davanti
alla sofferenza che vivono nell’aspetto comunitario, come in quello sacramentale.
La Chiesa non sorda a questi appelli ha concentrato le sue riflessioni e indicazioni in
due documenti: la Familiaris Consortio, e dopo un trentennio, l’Amoris Laetitia.
Obiettivo di questo nostro lavoro sarà, tentare di capire, come questi due documenti
provano a dare una risposta al difficile problema dei divorziati risposati e la possibilità di
ricevere i sacramenti. Proveremo anche a intendere quali sono i fattori comuni, come quelli
differenti, tra le due Esortazioni Apostoliche.
In a society that is in constant change, the crisis of values, understood as points of reference, is now a phenomenon tangible to many extents. This crisis touches all aspects of human life, in one way or another. It is in this situation that great suffering that the Family and Matrimony is experiencing, and from where the striking «hemorrhage» of separations derives. In front of the terrible plague of divorce, the Church has found itself having to face the complicated question of the faithful, who after the failure of their marriage, decide for a new union. Thus establishing a bond that stands in contrast with what is the meaning of sacramental Marriage. The consequences of this reality are, in one hand, a limitation on the participation of ecclesial life, and in the other, the impossibility of access to the sacraments of Reconciliation and of the Eucharist. These situations that were once numerically marginal are now a widespread phenomenon even among Catholics. The Church has found itself asking the questions like how to help the faithful in the sacramental aspect and how to respond to the many different requests for the help in facing and the understanding of the suffering in the community. The Church, not deaf to these appeals, has concentrated its reflections and indications into two documents: the Familiaris Consortio, and after thirty years, the Amoris Laetitia. The objective of this assignment is an attempt to comprehend how these two documents try to give a response to the difficult question of the divorced, remarried and their possibility of receiving the holy sacraments. We also try to explain which are the common and the different factors between Apostolics Exhortations.
