Abstract(s)
Assuming that knowledge is not tight, I propose myself to accomplish this Master course in Special Education. A continuous formation is essential to the development of good teaching practice, since it leads us to reflect, evaluate and redesign intervention strategies. It was in this perspective and taking into account my professional development during this school year 2015/2016, I attended the Master's degree in special education, with the main objective to acquire and update knowledge of scientific, pedagogical and didactic level that will allow me to develop personal, social and key professional skills not only for my teaching, but also for the school and organizational development, as promoting collaborative work among peers and school bodies. This work is fundamentally a case study of a child with a rare congenital disorder, Goldenhar syndrome. Apart from the inherent complications of his, the child since birth had other problems which have been addressed over the years by numerous surgical procedures. In this context, the aim of this work, relate the impact of their limitations and characteristics in different aspects: personal, social and academic level. That said, the present work deals with the issue of inclusion of children and young people with limitations pronounced at the level of body functions, as well as methodologies and intervention strategies aimed at full inclusion of these students in a perspective of the reach of academic success and future integration into society.
