Abstract(s)
Hospital São Francisco Xavier (Módulo I) onde desenvolvi competências essencialmente na
Enfermeiro Especialista
The present report is the culmination of a journey made in the Master's Course in Nursing with Specialization in Medical Surgical Nursing, aiming to assist the patient/family of medium and high risk. It was built with the purpose of giving visibility to the learning and skills acquired during the clinical practice, through a descriptive methodology with critical analysis, reflexive and analytics of all the activities. The clinical practice was composed of two modules. The first, performed at the Emergency Department of the São Francisco Xavier Hospital (Module I), where I developed skills, essentially in the area of Care, with the comfort of the heart patient and the communication with the patient and family as the main concern; and also in management and oversight of care, and training. The second, in the Infection Control Committee of Santa Cruz Hospital (Module III, optional area), where I have had the opportunity to develop skills in the field of prevention and infection control, epidemiological surveillance, training and communication. Between them there was a thread, the communication, which wasavectorof influence, withthe sickandthe multidisciplinary team, acquisition of qualityofcare. Along the clinical practice, there was a constant search for excellence in specialized care based on best evidence, through a bibliographic research. Several skills were addressed, applied, developed and learned, thus reaching, in my personal development process, the competencies expected of a Specialist Nurse
