Abstract(s)
This article identifies in Peter Pan's tale some secret places of the child's imagination: an island somewhere in the world, the flight, a little house under the ground, and particularly the eternal present. These places are other ways of childhood (Wendy) and youth (Peter Pan) if they say, if they reveal themselves. The analysis of the work allows an approximation of the imaginal childhood, complements the dimensions of the childhood unveiled by the infantile psychology, by the sociology of the childhood, etc. and illustrates how the study of Imaginary Studies greatly enriches, in an interdisciplinary perspective, the studies of children's literature.
