Abstract(s)
Amid the rhythms and transformations of the contemporary society, there is the urgent need to educate the human being on importance of the fraternity as an inherent characteristic in human nature. We can affirm that, it is only through an educational system that promotes unity in diversity, that can open the way for the formation of men and women who prioritize fraternal human relations in a dimension of seeing and treating the other as an equal being with a right to human fundamental rights, dignity and respect. The phenomenon of globalization entails new ways of understanding and experiencing the values. As a result, it constitutes a great challenge for the society and for the education, especially for the Catholic Moral and Religious Education subject, for it plays a fundamental role in the process of building fraternity in the school context. In respect to this, it is necessary to reflect on how each one must relate with one another in order to build a true human society. This work, entitled "Fraternity is Strength" aims at reflecting on the interpersonal relationship and fraternity, knowing that the first is a necessary element for the implementation of the second. This research therefore, tends to make a positive contribution to the theme: "Building the Fraternity" of the National Program of the Catholic Moral and Religious Education. It also aims at showing the importance of fraternal living way for the implantation of a culture of inclusion, where the dignity and fundamental rights of all human beings are recognized and valued without exception.
