Abstract(s)
A construção da fraternidade humana é um desafio urgente na atualidade,
principalmente numa sociedade que valoriza em demasia o materialismo e tenta uma
regulação social sustentada na competitividade das regras de mercado. Isto leva-nos ao perigo
de um entendimento errado da dignidade humana, em que o ser humano tende a ser
ultrapassado por um materialismo destrutivo.
Incluir e fomentar a tradição cultural de valores fraternos na educação dos jovens é
sempre um fator muito relevante na construção de um meio social mais justo e
verdadeiramente humano. O sistema educativo pode ter um papel preponderante nesta matéria
através dos currículos que elabora para as escolas, os quais não podem esquecer conteúdos
para o desenvolvimento da cidadania responsável dos alunos.
O trabalho apresentado está inserido na Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, mais
concretamente na unidade letiva Construir Fraternidade do 5.º ano de escolaridade e procura
fazer uma abordagem acerca da importância da prática dos valores da fraternidade cristã e a
sua relevância para a construção de uma sociedade mais humana.
The construction of human fraternity is an urgent challenge today, especially in a society that values materialism too much and tries social regulation based on the competitiveness of market rules. This leads us to the danger of a misunderstanding of human dignity, in which the human being tends to be overcome by destructive materialism. Including and fostering the cultural tradition of fraternal values in the education of young people is always a very important factor in the construction of a more just and truly human social environment. The education system can play a leading role in this matter through the curricula it prepares for schools, which can not forget content for the development of responsible student citizenship. The work presented is inserted in the Supervised Teaching Practice, more concretely in the unit Build Fraternity of the 5th year of schooling and tries to make an approach about the importance of the practice of the values of the Christian fraternity and its relevance for the construction of a society more humane.
